Brain Game - Mind Impulse

Unfortunately the scoring system for this game no longer works, but it does have a timer and it does tell you when you get things right or wrong, and because it is a very good game for keeping all sorts of mental skills in shape, we thought it was worthwhile having on the dDN website.

The game starts simply with pictures of all kinds of arrows facing in different directions. Your task in this part of the game is to use your arrow keys on your keyboard to mimic the arrows that you see on the screen circled in green. Except when the green circle is around a black arrow in which case you need to press the arrow key on your keyboard that points in the direction opposite to the arrow you see on the screen. Sound confusing? You'll get the hang of it, we're sure.

Other stages in the game are likely to be very challenging for anyone who has even early stage dementia, particularly because it has a telling time tasks (but maybe that will be handy for practicing before your next MMSE?!).

Mind Impulse also has simple mathematics tests, estimation questions, spatial awareness tasks, and more.

A very good workout for your brain. See if you can beat your time, without getting too many things wrong.
